SpaceX, Elon Musk’s private space company, is testing the launch of its rocket Starship at Texas launchpad. A next-generation rocket and the largest built yet, Starship intends to be a fully reusable system with the capability to carry both crew and cargo to space. Chopsticks Explained: The New York Times — 8:53 PM EST

SpaceX will be using what looks like a giant pair of chopsticks to catch the returning Starship rocket. The “chopsticks” will close around the rocket’s booster as it returns to the launch tower. If successful, Starship will be in position to be quickly refueled for its next launch.
